Lighthouse Celebrations
Throughout the year our children's department has Lighthouse Celebrations where we celebrate how we have been growing in our spiritual disciplines. Each Sunday, those kids who have read their Bible, memorized scripture verses, invited others to church and/or witnessed to others about God's grace get to put a colored ball into our Children's Lighthouse. When we fill our lighthouse to the top, we celebrate together with different fun events. And the fun part? The kids get to vote how they want to celebrate! We have had silly string parties, pizza parties, swim parties, disco parties and ice cream parties.
Community Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, March 31st from 10:00-12:00, our church will host a free community Easter Egg hunt for all kids aged 3 years old - 6th grade. There will be three hunts organized according to age group (Preschool, Early Elementary and Late Elementary). We will also have organized field games and a presentation of the Resurrection Eggs during the event.
Children's Camp
Our District Kids Camp, ACTIVATE, is July 16-20, 2018. The camp runs two tracks: Primary Track (Completed 1st-3rd grade) and the Junior Track (completed 4th-6th grade). It is hosted at Camp Arrowhead in Glen Rose, TX.
Activate Camp scholarships are Due April 16, 2018
Early Registration for Camp ends on Tuesday, May 15, 2018
Regular Rate Registration for Camp ends on June 15, 2018
Late Rate Registration for Camp ends on June 9, 2018
Vacation Bible School:
ROAR! Life is wild-God is good
Join us July 29- August 2, 2019 from 6:15-8:45 pm for an epic African adventure which engages the whole herd. At Roar, kids explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life.
Back-To-School Splash
At the close of the summer, our kids join together for a Back-To-School Pool Party. Please check back for more details.
Community Fall Fest
On Tuesday, October 31st from 6:30-8:00, we invite you to join us for our free community Fall Fest. We will have bounce houses outside, a trunk-or-treat in our parking lot and fun carnival games inside. This is a fun event for the whole family!
Children's Christmas Musical
On Sunday, December 16th, during the 10:30 am worship service, our children presented their Christmas musical, "The Surprising Christmas Pageant" by Dennis Hartin.
